Should I wear suspenders/braces and a cummerbund for black tie?
I have seen different guides say different things. Some say one should always wear braces, and others say one should wear either one but not both.

cummerbund/vest cover your waist while suspenders/braces keep your pants up. they serve different purposes and yes can (should) be worn together
