the better alternative is to just not use them

not true at all, looking up player stats is just not against any rules set forth by riot games, the reason they claim to get banned is either due to vanguard mistakenly labeling the overlay injector as a cheat or the person banned is just lying and claiming they got banned for it when they really got banned for cheating
