Stuck on Splash Screen after fresh install on Desktop

Hi, I'm trying to install Bazzite to my Desktop PC. I'm using the 'bazzite-nvidia-stable' image since my PC has a Nvidia 2060 Super graphics card. I followed the installation instructions, enrolled the MOK stuff (since I have Secure Boot enabled), and all. However, whenever my PC boots now, it gets stuck on the Asrock splash screen with the Bazzite logo at the bottom, but the loading circle is frozen. I edited the grub entry to remove the 'quiet' flag, and now I'm stuck on what's shown in the attached picture. Any advice? I'm not sure what to do here and I was really excited to try Bazzite 😦

are you dual booting? actually nvm that, probably not caused by that. it seems the nvidia driver is not loading looking at the log there 😭 they left

i was about to suggest turning off secure boot and trying again and seeing if it was related to: https://github.com/ublue-os/bazzite/issues/789#issuecomment-1966410213

okay... now im even more lost then. secure boot issues usually would be a different error so i figured not that anyways, but i sincerely don't know how this is happening. it never booted right? this is right after the installation. did you ever get past the "building kargs" section? also what did you use to flash this? no root account enabled? user password for the user? sorry if that's a lot of questions but all of the information can help

Nope, never booted 😦 And yeah, the building kargs and building initramfs all ran and seemed to succeed. I'm using Ventoy via USB to install I did enable a root account And I did set a user password as well

KDE Could it be related to Ventoy?

Lemme see Ok, Idk wtf happened, but I had to reinstall since I was trying out Nobara too. And after reinstalling and doing everything exactly same same EXCEPT I didnt enable a root account, it booted up. So... it's working now, I guess? Lmao

OH i misread even what you said earlier yea we don't recommend enabling a root account if we could pull it out of the installer, we would have it's in the installation guide to keep it disabled as soon as KDE Plasma gets support for creating a user post-installation we're removing the user creation in anaconda
