Wayland session freezes the computer and weston displays a black window
Hello, I tried using wayland after some time using X (to see if Waydroid would work, since it only shows the icon and disappears), but I ended up with a frozen black screen instead that I was only able to recover after rebooting. And in addition to that, Weston doesn't load, showing just a black screen with poor framerate (mouse cursor lags whenever I hover over it).
Running on:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5500 GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3060 12GB Displays: 1x DisplayPort, 1x HDMI (Secondary) RAM: 3x8GB XPG D35 3600MHz

Important to note, on your hardware you'll have no GPU acceleration under Waydroid
even with working Wayland
that being said, wayland should work, but flicker due to Nvidia forcing explicit sync before it was ready
not that I would want, I just wanna use some text apps
we also ship a nested compositor for waydroid
so you can run it under X
here's the thing
like I said in the post, wayland just straight up doesn't work
and waydroid simply crashes without warning
