Game suddenly gets extremely Low fps
Usually my game runs smoothly, but sometimes it suddenly drops to like 1 to 5 FPS and it usually stays like this until the next round starts. But not only my game is lagging, my entire PC is. I do record my games with obs and i understand that the problem probably is that my pc just cant handle val and obs at the same time, but i have been recording my games for months, but only had these issues for like 2 weeks now. I suspect that my CPU is the problem, because everytime the lag starts, the cpu usage indicator in obs goes from like 0.8% to about 20%. How can i fix that? Is there any way to optimize CPU usage in val and/or obs?
