You'll definitely want to be on the beta
And switch to X11 if you're having any issues
I can at least confirm that on the beta it works perfectly with my valve index
Alvr is another can of worms, but I know some users here have it working just fine
Full AMD btw
Same here, VR on Linux is still pretty new and there are lots of issues yet to be resolved
Wayland support for VR is still a pretty recent thing
Like it doesn't work on gnome at all for instance, at least on Wayland
KDE, Full AMD Build, Stable SteamVR (Not beta)
you want to be on the beta
stable SteamVR is terrible
Understandable.
I kinda switched back to windows again, because of my microphone quality and also, I'm kinda using my AMD machine for virtual machines now. :(
(Other machine is Nvidia and Intel)
😐
