The KVMFR kernel module is not LG version specific, only the host and client application versions need to match. See: libvirt/QEMU Installation β Looking Glass B7-rc1 documentation Note I am referencing the B7-rc1 documentation as the KVMFR documentation has been improved substantially, the details here still apply to B6
@Kyle Gospo i will need your help with setting up a copr for the kernel module then so we could include it π
and a just file to toggle the acs patch :kappa:
the acs patch is more of a hackaround, idk if the fsync kernel dev would want it so he would have the last say in that
this was already included on some fsync version with the cmdline
Yeah that thing is a nightmare, I don't think it's going to be included
You were looking at a fork
harder like this?
https://github.com/xanmod/linux-patches/blob/master/linux-6.7.y-xanmod/pci_acso/0001-PCI-Enable-overrides-for-missing-ACS-capabilities.patch
xanmod do it at this way

@Kyle Gospo thoughts on the kvmfr module though? think thats feasable since gnif confirmed it is not tied to the LG version the user uses.
i wouldnt mind maintaining the packaging for that kernel module since i would be using it myself (so i would need it to work for my job π€£ )
Yeah, happy to help with that
