it won't reach main menu even if i wait for 30mins

Looks like a failing hdd to me
Close the game through task manager and reopen
everything else works perfectly

This is an issue with files loading off of your disk. You might have a HDD. If you do, you should defragment it or get an SSD and place Valorant on it.
Use
windows key + r than type "dfrgui" to check what type of drive you have.

install on the C drive its better
all my games are on it
I actually installed val on my hdd, worst mistake made
When I moved it to my ssd (C drive) everything worked

c drive can b a hdd or a solid state drive
Might want to invest into more RAM for your PC while you're at it.
Also possibly an M.2 SSD Drive or and External SSD and install your games onto that
