Carriages split from train are useless after crash
When a carriage that's not controllable is split off a train and another train crashes into it, it can be neither disassembled nor re-connected to another train, making it completely useless.
Am I right? How can I "recover" from such situation?

As far as I know, the train has to be hyper-perfectly aligned for the coupler to work. Was this fixed?
You can rerail it by using a wrench on it and then connecting a train to it
And move it around with a wrench to get it into place to work with a coupler
Yes, but will coupler work if it's not hyper-perfectly aligned? I tried it a while ago and it didn't work...
