Warm-Weather Cozymaxxing 2: Underwear Edition
I think I'm getting closer to assembling some breathable, cozy-adjacent fits that will work for super-casual situations as the weather gets warmer.
So far, I have the Outlier Ramiefall 107 Yes pants which are barely there but look better and more substantial than ultralight athleisure options I've tried like Vuori's Ponto. I'm pairing them with lightweight tees like the Taylor Stitch cotton hemp blend, which are similarly weightless, and then layering with camp collars like the Scotch and Soda terry one that I posted before and a few others.
But I'm finding the underwear situation to be a challenge. What is the best seamless option that will ensure maximum airflow with minimal coverage and restriction of movement?
I don't want anything that will ride up, but I also want something that provides some support, as I've never been a fan of boxers. Calvin Klein and similar cotton boxer briefs are too restrictive and negate most of the benefits of the Ramiefall by reducing air circulation. But the fabric may be a bit too thin to go commando. I have some soft bamboo jocks from Andrew Christian that might be minimal enough to work, but they are maybe not something I want to wear all day as they can still require frequent readjustment.
What would be the coolest, lowest-friction option here? I've tried Uniqlo's Airism underwear, at least the older version, and hate it along with anything that feels overly synthetic.

If you don't like the synthetic feel, maybe some merino? No personal experience but I have a friend who wears them and he seems to love them
I think I've tried smartwool before and found it a bit too heavy and textured, but maybe I will look at some of the lighter weight merino options out there, I know a lot of the onebag types swear by icebreaker and similar brands
thanks
