Trying to layer brother priner rpm's which supposedly works in other atomic fedora distros
Any ostree masters? There was a silverblue forum post I read some time ago that seemed to show some success with this and a friend claimed it worked on kinoite.
rpm files are :
brscan4-0.4.10-1.x86_64.rpm brscan-skey-0.3.2-0.x86_64.rpm cupswrapperMFC7460DN-2.0.4-2.i386.rpm mfc7460dnlpr-2.1.0-1.i386.rpm
The brscan rpms installed without issue. Cupswrapper requires the other one which outputs as follows:

seems like the file doens't exist(?)
can you use a fully qualified path?
That did the same thing. I also tried the "generic" driver which worked with no issue and prints. They don't seem to clearly explain what the difference is but a different model's page says it's network only and black and white only which is fine for the monochrome printer at least. The colour printer I have doesn't have a generic driver and I'll test it's driver too in case it's just the one model's non generic driver having issues
The other printer driver for hl-l8360cdw indeed installed with no issues. I think the current rpm on the brother site for the mfc-7460dn is just faulty in some way or has some incompatibility with rpm-ostree that doesn't exist in every rpm they supply.
