Question about penalty system
I was recently given a 24 hour comp ban for going afk (my wifi router is faulty and it took an hour to restart it). My question is, do these kinds of bans stay on a "record", and the next misdemeanor will be a 7 day comp ban, or is there a set amount of time after which the penalty is removed from my record (I go back to receiving like 10 minute queue bans)?

They stay on the record
Solution
To get the 1,3 hours ban again. U need to play matches without going afk
as he said They stay on the record
but you can appeal these types of bans

No u cannot
Queue restrictions cannot be removed
Also they are better off waiting out the 24 hour ban
It will take riot 2 days to reply anyway
so if i play a certain amount of games, the severity of the penalties go down again?
Yep
Yep
alright, thank yuo
seems i just need to get a better router or switch to ethernet
and i should be set, thank you both
If its ur router thats getting shut down
switch to ethernet is cheaper option
An ethernet will not make a difference
