Legion Go eGPU – No video out in Game Mode

Hey all, big fan of the project and recently installed Bazzite on a Legion Go. Absolutely loving it so far; thanks for all you do. I have an AMD eGPU (GPD G1), which gets detected correctly in desktop mode and sends HDMI video out to my TV without issues. gpu-export correctly reports both the dGPU and iGPU, with the dGPU being first in the list. All seems good in desktop mode. In game mode, however, HDMI video out just shows a black screen on my TV. I can hear the fans of the eGPU spinning (suggesting that the connection is made correctly), but nothing gets displayed on the external monitor. I'm very new to this, so any tips on how to figure this out would be appreciated. Thank you!

I have the exact same problem. Is there any solution?

someone had a similar issue with their AR glasses and confirmed after i linked them to the documentation that gamescope would fallback to whatever it used as default if it did not find the external screen(AR glasses) which is what they wanted, so you can try doing this https://universal-blue.discourse.group/docs?topic=37#how-do-i-specify-the-correct-monitor-for-gaming-mode-to-use-htpc-only-7

Steam Deck images have it disabled due to causing issues with MangoHud. It will be added back when these issues are resolved. You will have to rebase to the Unstable branch. More information can be found here.
