online suit for college graduation

i go to school pretty far away from a big city (US) and i'm pretty busy towards the end of the semester so I'm looking at buying a grad suit online. I've heard good things about suitsupply and spier & mackay, are there any other places i should be looking at? i'm 5'6 160lb so i'm a bit concerned about fit, especially with pant length as most items are way too long off of the rack and i probably won't have access to a tailor. let me know any thoughts or recommendations, TIA!

S&M is good, you can have them hem the pants and shorten sleeves for you if you don’t have access to a tailor as long as you know your measurements

You're probably a 38S or 40S in Spier and Mackay. Get contemporary fit, not slim. You should generally expect to do some minor alterations to a suit, no matter where you get it. Dry cleaners often do alterations, and can do the type of thing you will need, which is hemming the pants and (possibly) shortening the sleeves.

RTW suit sizing is based on chest and shoulder measurements the pants are usually a “drop 6” or “drop 8” waist from the chest. I would strongly advise against telling people what size suit they are if they haven’t given measurements. But also yeah you should expect to alter most suits in some fashion if they are off the rack

Uh yeah, don't believe my guess at your measurements. Definitely measure yourself. My guess was in the spirit of "if you have no idea what size you are, here's a ballpark". If you come up with 46L, I'm pretty sure that's wrong lol.
