✅ Progressbar progression over taskbar icon without nuget

I'm trying to find a way to do this with Windows API or something else. I don't want to use nuget packages for this.

I've googled around but I don't seem to find any recent information about it, only really old threads.

Any ideas?

You could find a open source nugget that does what you want and look at the code ?

.NET 6/8 are full of NuGet packages. So, you didn't fairly justify why you cannot use NuGet packages.
