knit tie length
Haven’t worn a tie in ages but gifted a knit tie for my birthday. I’m really enjoying it but it feels SO short. It sits right when I tie it up but the tail being so little is throwing me off.
Are tied of this style just generally shorter? Is it too small? Does it matter?

if it lands at/around your belt it's probably at a good spot, but you could cheat it one way or the other and see how it looks
Yeah maybe I’m just used to bigass old thrifted ties that I had to tuck the tail in on and stuff
Long bit seems to hit where it should which is what matters ya?
i do think you could go maybe ~.5-1" longer
Like tie it longer or get a longer tie u mean
like shift it around your neck such that the big end is a lil bit longer
length is fine imo 👍 i usually overcorrect for the length on my knit ties as rej suggests
Came here to compliment on the watch 🙃 what is it?
Thank you! Also a birthday gift. Seiko Dolce on a mesh strap. Hundreds of them on eBay.
