when i do that it says i need to be in "user mode" how do i turn that on

also i sent my pc to get fixed because of a USB error, and they disabled the top usb device for it, if i install it…will it also reset the USB device
That won't touch anything about your usb drives

I'm pretty sure they literally just unplugged it since I don't even think there is a way inside of your BIOS to disable it
