If I have voice chat muted does my teammate knows?

I prefer playing the game without voice chat. I have speech disability where I can't talk well so I tend to avoid voice chatting in game. People making fun of how I speak is bound to happen in this type of game so it's better to avoid that. I'm also a formor league of legend player so I'm very used to playing without voice chat. Would be great if my teammate knows I have it disable so we can commicate with pings instead.

Thanks. I tend to make sure the voice chat is disable before I enter in any game. I played league for 8 years so my mentality is better then most players. Well for league at least. Shouldn't be much different for Valorant.

from my personal opinion, most valorant players want to win so they force themselves to be nice. if people make fun of you for your speech just mute them and you can continue talking. i sometimes stutter in my speech but if anyone makes fun of me i just mute them and move on. there are really nice people that play valorant and you won’t be able to meet them if you never try to. however i still understand and respect your desiciton Also most people comp don’t use their mic even if they have voice chat on so if you want, you can keep voice chat on but just don’t talk since 70% of valorant players do that and you will miss out on some important comms that you wouldn’t get if you muted your team

Too used to not hearing people speaking. I play better without people's voices and can focus a lot better. It's an league habit that isn't easy to change. Whenever I play league on discord with friends my skills dropped a lot. I'm just the type that plays better without hearing voices; it distracts me and affects my decision making.
