J Crew Pacer Boots
Thoughts on these, in this particular color? I've been watching auctions and these go for around $100, which is right around what I can spend right now. This light brown is pretty common, though they did a run in darker brown too. I've never had any footwear this color and I'm not sure how easy it is to style. Kinda conflicted if I should hold out for a pair in a darker shade which I'm more used to styling.

I think a pair in darker brown can be a bit easier to wear than these lighter brown / tan colors. Especially if you're concerned about the color I'd suggest holding out for a dark brown pair
I have a pair of them in that lighter shade of brown in your picture. Generally I agree with GSH that darker ones will be 'easier' but I feel like it depends on the rest of your wardrobe.
I wear mine with a lot of olive and khaki/beige tones fairly easily. I love them with my Stan Ray OG107s and gramicci pants and stuff like that.
I don't typically wear mine with denim though, and when I do it trends to be a more medium shade and never with a dark indigo.
I do wear fatigues and mid or light wash denim often — I can imagine that combo works pretty well. But I’m thinking I should probably hold out for a darker pair since that is what I’m just more excited about.
