what should I ask my tailor to do for this suit?

I feel like the sleeve is a bit wide but I don’t know if I should ask for it

Sleeves look fine, the shoulders are the biggest issue and your tailor can't really fix that unfortunately

Shoulder-to-shoulder is the toughest dimension for a tailor to alter on basically any garment

Wait do u mean shoulder width? Or the amount of space for my arm/bicep area to go through?

Width. Like from the edge of one shoulder pad to the other

What Ragonk and GSH have spotted is a shoulder divot. I’ve attached a more extreme example so you can see what we mean. This happens when the shoulder of the jacket is not flush with your shoulder. As has been pointed out, it’s extremely difficult to fix. I’ve never encountered a tailor who would even try.

ah ok thats unfortunate

It just doesn't fit the way a double breasted jacket should fit. Along with the shoulder problem I think it's just too big for you.

theoretically if I find a tailor that is willing to work on it, what would I begin to ask them? Do I just say "hey my shoulders are too wide?" or my shoulders are too open?

If they’re a tailor that’s even willing to attempt to fix shoulders they will know what to do when you put it on Fixing shoulder width is basically reconstructing the most complex part of the jacket

And it won't be cheap
