What's your favorite piece of clothing you having in your closet right now? Has it been a grail that you've been wanting for a while that you finally copped or something you've grown to love?

These boots by NF Bootmaker. Not only are they handsome and in my favorite leather, but the maker has become a good friend and that makes them extra special

I'm fortunate to have some really special stuff in my closet but my absolute favorite is my absolute first nice thing: Alden Indys via J. Crew, made possible due to that frequent mistake they made ~10-15 years ago where the big coupon (35%?) worked on Aldens.
I purchased them in 2010 (I had recently graduated college) for $337.50, which at the time was an outrageous price for me to spend on much of anything, let alone a pair of boots.
But they were my door to better understanding goodyear-welted shoes, leathers, and ultimately clothes and men's style. And ~15 years later, I still rock them pretty frequently!
as far as recent favorites go, probably this Taylor Stitch x Gear Patrol reversible Lombardi jacket. It was a random late-night eBay purchase, but I've found myself reaching for it more than expected because of how versatile it is. The weight has been perfect for the past few months here and the side pocket placement is perfect
