Looking for outfit advice to pair/complement with my gf
Hey everyone, I'm looking for outfit advice to pair with my gf's for a date night. She likes cream/pink but I'm having trouble finding something to match it with. I'm from California, have about a month, and prefer buying online particularly from Bonobos.
What I'd like to wear: -cream hoodie (optional) -blue jean jacket over hoodie? -chinos as pictured but need advice on color -shoes as pictured I don't like the look of cream/white chinos, and I've thought about black chinos but I think the contrast might be a bit much. I'd be open to wearing a different top, like an unbuttoned ocbd

Is the matching outfit for an event or something? context might help with some recommendations
You're totally right. It's for a regular date night
I think the issue you are running into is there isn't really a reason to match her? Like you can if you want, but to some extent people are more inclined to say "be yourself" (despite it being somewhat useless advice) but its kinda true.
We also don't know your wardrobe/style/whatever so theres not really anything for us to go off of.
That's a good point, I think I'm flexible and I'd like to develop a style aside from the basic chinos+shirt/hoodie. I'm open to new fashions and that's where I'm looking for ideas/inspo currently. With this situation specifically I'm having trouble finding what colors to use.
My partner and I like to dress “on theme” together a lot, it’s fun, if it were me I would use the outfit vibes as inspiration as well as color palette
The dress is inspired by nightgowns, delicate, lace, the sweater is cozy and chunky.
So I’d wear some pants that have nice drape, have flow/movement to them, and a cozy chunky sweater on top, maybe a turtleneck, throw on some casual loafers or something to finish
Velvet if you wanna go all in
That's a really good and helpful point thank you. By cozy/chunky sweater would it be something like this?
The more I think about it the more I think the vibes are something like this
You make a good point about drape/flow and I never thought about it before
