trying to figure out my hair type

I've only ever used 2 in 1 shampoo and haven't tried much in styling my hair, but now I want to use better shampoo/conditioner and change my hair a bit. I've figured out that I need to know my hair type to find a shampoo but I couldn't figure it out on my own, I've included a photo of my middle part roots if anyone could please help me with that. I've also included a photo of my current hair style if anyone has tips or ideas. Thank you for any help
