looking for spring/fall jacket recommendations
Now that it’s getting a bit warmer I’m looking to upgrade my fall/spring jacket option. I live in northern Ohio climate so soemthing that would be good in like high 40s-60s. Budget of around $150 but I can be pretty flexible on that. Was maybe considering a carhart duck jacket but not sure yet. I do not want to try to find something used I’d highly prefer to just buy it new somewhere. New to all this so just looking for what yall recommends and I can answer other questions too

I’ll put in a good word for Harrington jackets. Super classic but with a cropped body that is very on trend now.
You can get them used from good brands like Ralph Lauren, LL Bean, and Faconnable used on eBay at that price
Are you looking for in a workwear style? You can find a lot of light coats at that price point, so I think it’s more about what you’re looking for.
That’s a nice fit
Not necessarily
Mean to respond to to piano guy
what is your typical style otherwise? (pics will help, check #waywt or #inspiration if needed)
40s to 60s can be a broad range too, depending on how warm/cold you run or if you layer other stuff under it
IDK if I really have a typical style yet im still working on this but I scrolled #waywt for a bit and copied a couple other users stuff thats close to things I regularly wear

until this year I kinda just wore like an hoodie or an old ass north face zip up
I do like that harrington braindrops linked I could see myself wearing something liek that
Any specific cut you are looking for? Long, cropped, boxy, ect?
Not long for sure
I kinda like cropped
I would probably go with some kind of blanket line denim jacket or an insulated mechanic style jacket
I have this vintage mechanic jacket, nice cropped and boxed fit and keeps mildly warm from insulation. Goes with basically anything too
Denim chore coats are a great option, especially if you get one large enough to fit over a slimmer/thinner sweater like a Shetland it can be used as outerwear down into lower temps as well, and all the pockets are nice to have
