vgc: Error 1: Incorrect function
Hello everyone, after installing VALORANT it keeps asking me to reboot even though I rebooted. If I start
vgc
from services.msc
The error I get is Error 1: Incorrect function. I am running VALORANT on Tiny10 in VirtualBox. (basically it's a vm)29 Replies
have u tried to reinstall vanguard?
and maybe don't run it in a vm
just dualboot
Solution
Wont work in VM also custom windows versions have problem with vanguard
can i ask you why in VM
because macos is my main os
why
cause its against T/C
:val_CatBigStare:
:val_OhBee:
that will take too much space and as i have macos 10.12.6 sierra i think it will only allow windows 8 as maximum
can you share the link pls
get WINDOWS 🪟 RAAAAHHHHHHH
on a imac?
yup
Looks like you’re running VALORANT/Riot Vanguard from a virtual machine. Since this isn’t allowed, you’ll have to install both on a regular instance of Windows instead of a virtual one.
oh ok
but i dint get error code 138 for some reason
but it doesnt matter
Dual Boot
:val_CatBigStare:
through bootcamp
?
You're getting that error code because you're using a nonofficial version of windows
So you're being blocked
But as soon as you did just install normal windows you would get that error code
no the same thing happened with normal windows in a vm
yeah Bypass exist
no error 138
afterwards i tried with tiny10 as it was taking too much space
Van or Val ?
None
They're getting the restart your system
Message
But yeah that's also happened because you're in a VM
ah disable fastboot
Cause I tried before and I wouldn't allow me
No
in a vm it actually just doesn't work
yeah ik
how does valorant know its a vm
?
Not valorant
cause vanguard cant access and verify drivers
Vanguard
ok thanks
is it possible to run on parallels or do i have to dualboot it?
