Fixing typeface artefacts

Does anyone with knowledge of font rendering know how I can fix this issue? It seems like the point at the top-right of the H's cross-bar drifts around depending on the browser and the level of scaling, instead of consistently lining up with the point below it. It feels like it some sort of rounding error like maybe it is snapping to some underlying grid which I can't see. I can edit the points in fontforge but can't see any attributes of that point which would lead to this. I've screnshotted how it looks in Chrome (drifts to the right), Firefox (drifts to the left) and in fontforge (exactly as it should be)
