Domain on AWS Route53 never transfers to Cloudflare DNS

Hi everyone, I bought a domain on AWS and I'm trying to make it active on Cloudflare. I followed the instructions: there is no DS records and I've updated the nameservers to carlane.ns.cloudflare.com and jermaine.ns.cloudflare.com. I've waited 4 days and periodically checked nameservers manually and it's still inactive. I removed the website from the Cloudflare list and started the process again: after 3 more days it's still not active. I had already done the process with another website and there was no issue at all. Is there something I do wrong? Any help is appreciated, thank you!
