Failed to download package with jade
each time I try to install the OS, I get a [ERROR] failed to download packages, My connection is fine and the PC is doing well too so idk why I get this. I'm trying to install blendOS v3 (but it also happens to v4)

@Dev
blendOS Status
blendOS status page. The flag preceding each monitor name is its country of origin.
Thank you to all who host our mirrors!
It’s possible our repo was down at the time
thx
It’s still down 😔
it has been working for a few days now, try again
still down
maybe we should set up a backup repo
I could do that but we can’t change the installer in the ISO
not without Rudra
Which sets the default pacman.conf
Plus I don’t know how a backup repo would be implemented
I guess the installer would check at system build
And swap the repo accordingly
It could check directly or connect to my uptime Kuma instance and ask it https://uptime-kuma-api.readthedocs.io/en/latest/
https://uptime-kuma-api.readthedocs.io/en/latest/api.html#uptime_kuma_api.UptimeKumaApi.get_monitor_status
yeah
if it cant get a response from the regular repo
switches to the backup one
same here cant boot after installation because of package download failure
plz help
try to change mirrors
@saderk89
those are ISO mirrors
there's only one other repo mirror: https://blend.asterisk.lol/mirror/ (default mirror is https://pkg-repo.blendos.co)
those 2 mirrors have been down forever
I'm not sure if Rudra implemented importing the liveCD's system.yaml file
so is your issue fixed or not
no, i forgot blendos
well the mirror is up
and it's not using cloudflaremirrors anymore
https://mirror.askiiart.net/ ?
idk about what's included in the iso though, or if it's missing the v3 stuff or something
what are those files in the mirror and what should i do with them?
You said that wasn’t ready
Nothing
They’re an arch package repository
It’s a backup in case the main repo is down which it isn’t
oh uh
that's ready, i just haven't moved it to the other server, so it's still like 40 mbps, not 600
Mine is 1 gbps
Used to be 10 Mbps
