Any recommendations or solutions to isolate my PCB board
Good evening guys ,
I have a PCB inside a waterproof box outdoors, and it's happened twice in a few months that I've had a short circuit because of metal filings.
Do you have any recommendations or solutions to isolate my board, add protection??

Solution
JLCPCB has an option to cover your PCB in a protective coating
I never did it, but I think it's some kind of epoxy
Like as a solder mask? Or everythings epoxied down
An epoxy liquid is poured on the assembled PCB
Then solidifies
I see i see
I think it could be exactly what I need
Thank u

You can cover it with resin epoxy it's more affordable, you just mix it and pour it in the box, don't worry anymore about over heating or short cercuit, yes you won't be able to see or work on it but it will work out, tell me what you think
Thank u @aymen ammari ☺️

One thought I have is, to think about the fact that some materials shrink while hardening and that could rip SMT parts off or make them loose. Just a thought, no scientific background to it.
Heard about it here (link with timestamp): https://youtu.be/T3evnh9lT9k?&t=1158
