Barbour’s reputation beyond the classic jackets?
I found this quilted Barbour jacket that I like quite a bit, but it’s also quite expensive — how’s Barbour’s reputation for making clothes outside of their classic line of waxed canvas?
Are they just coasting on the brand name and selling overpriced junk or are they still considered top tier?

Their stuff is well-made imo. It all depends on if you like the style, which imo generally skews old man-ish (nothing wrong with that). If you like that jacket at that price point then go ahead
It depends on what you're buying to a degree, something like their tshirts aren't any better than anyone elses.
All the jackets I've handled have been nice, and fit for purpose. The waxed canvas ones are standout though.
