DNS and nginx setup
Hey guys,
I recently setup a nginx server to access programs on my PC. I setup a DNS with AAAA as I only have a working ipv6 connection at my home. The DNS is set to be allowed to edit and read zones/dns. Nginx is running fine but I still can't access anything through my DNS. Any ideas why it doesn't work?

either portforward on your pc or use cloudflare tunnel
But cloudflare tunnel wasn't allowing non html streaming before with 2.8 in their TOS. They removed that point, so can I use it for streaming and uploading my files?
they moved the section, didn't remove it entirely, it just got changed: https://blog.cloudflare.com/updated-tos

that being said, I would read this: https://discord.com/channels/595317990191398933/1128753516081582192/1129499373722673243
Good to know, I am only hosting Nextcloud, Immich and Jellyfin for my family to stream movies and access our pictures. Could 4K streaming become an issue in the future?

So I need to get DNS only to run. Nslookup says that it is pointing to my ipv6
your router firewall is open and portforwarding?
It should be. I went into the settings, selected my desktop and activated port forwarding for 80 and 443. When I turn off my wifi and try to login through my cellular carrier with the desktop ip I get greeted by the nginx screen, but that's it. The ipv4/ipv6 ain't showing anything
do you know whats serving the nginix screen ?
What do you mean? I started nginx on the desktop I am trying to access
is this over your local network ?
I think the issue begins already with my desktop. I tried to ping the ipv6 of my desktop but it says the host ist unreachable
Probably because of that I can't access anything
