Need help with removing domain from Cloudflare
Hi!
First: I am a beginner.
I have a WordPress website hosted on Bluehost that I want to hook up a CDN to through Cloudflare. Usually, it's possible to enable Cloudflare with just a button click through the Bluehost account dashboard. Today there was an issue with Bluehost and I wasn't able to do it without an error message coming up. I asked the support for help and they recommended me to set up Cloudflare manually instead and then change the name servers at the domain registrar (which is GoDaddy).
I am not familiar enough with this process and after creating an account with Cloudflare and starting the setup, I feel that I would prefer to do it the easy way through Bluehost and wait until it works with their system again.
My question now is: Can I remove the domain from Cloudflare without the website and my email connected to the domain being affected? I have not updated the nameservers yet, so is Cloudflare active yet? I'm worried that the DNS records are affected and that removing the domain from Cloudflare will create issues with my email and website.
My idea is to remove the domain from Cloudflare and just connect it to Cloudflare through Bluehost with one button click and therefore avoid all the manual more advanced steps.
Please be kind, I am learning. 🙂 Thanks!
