Valorant is crashing
I've been in contact with riot support since friday, made posts on reddit and asked my tech friends for help. But it seems like it's impossible to find a solution for all the crashing i'm experiencing, hence why i'm doing this post in hope of finding anything else i can do to try to solve it.
My game started crashing around friday last week, at first i thought it was a problem with my recording software i use (i've used it for over a year and lost all my videos since it crashed with valorant, i havent had a problem with that software until now). However i kept crashing every 2-3 games (in customj it crashes around every 15 min) even with the software uninstalled, i didn't get a error either until days later which said "Graphics card crashed! Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date. (and then a link to riot troubleshooting support)" (i updated my graphics drivers a couple days before this so i knew i had the latest update but i did update it again and later also reinstalled them, so i'm sure there shouldnt be anything wrong with the graphics drivers, i also made sure to check my gpu's health and it looked fine).
When recording with my recording software (i also experienced this with another i had temporary when uninstalling the other one) it makes the recording laggy, very pixelated and freezing randomly, i've never had this problem before until the crashes started.
List of everything i've done and been told to try to fix the problem:
-turned off full screen optimization
-did a clean boot
-i completely removed valorant and cleaned all the registries and corrupted files
-i uninstalled another software that could cause the game to crash
-i disabled Core Parking
-i disabled HPET (High Precision Event Timer)
-i did something with "set affinity" as well as putting valorant as top priority
-i have updated my driver, through geforce as well as from nvidias website
-i reinstalled my gpu drivers with help of ddu
-i disabled any startup apps that could mess with valorant (i did everything at first, but that made my mic act up and i don't want to sound like i'm in a microwave after spending hundreds on a mic lol)
I have literally no more information, i don't know what causes the crashing..
Any help or thought is highly appreciated!

okay, it usually takes a while for it to crash, usually 15-20 in custom,m ill get back soon
yep
also keep c drive atlease 30 Gb Free
and other apps using GPU off
okay
i haven’t crashed yet, which is a good sign, i’ll keep playing though to make sure it worked completely. thank you for the help anyways:)
two different stuff my guy
my game crashed again from being in custom for 30 min
Sis it's new app it has integrated driver update and game settings and control panel
Also GeForce was having problem so I made him installed it
Something is on auto update maybe it updated that's why
app is better control panel and drivers, before experience is drivers + game overlay + somemkre goofy sheit so ermm aktwally :nerdass:
but yeah
something is wrong
I have no clue tbh
Gpu is auto updating
Fans ?
Bottlenecking maybe
?
Maybe high GPU usage
I don't think bottlenecks should affect
and if the cpu temps were to high the whole pc would shut down
Try replug GPU
hmmmm
Clean dust in pc
talon
Yes
you told her to install the old drivers yeah?
Yes
it worked?
It worked but I guess it automatically installed newer version
hmmm
well
when she is back try to look I guess
good job finding one solution tho:aniheart:
So I made her install 551.61
Maybe it automatically installed newer to 551.70 or newer
Should we try going one more driver downgrade
We have January one
tbh idk anything about game crashes
I think you are more experienced
so it's your word:val_CatBigStare:
Nope lol im more software experienced
