Hi, After Login, We have been stuck over the two factor authentication.
Just lost the phone on which we usually recieve the codes. I have been waiting for the cloudfare mail from last 2 days now. Any guidance or support.

Are you saying you submitted the request 2 days ago or was 5 days after the waiting period 2 days ago? If the former, you'll need to wait a bit longer. If the latter, this discord can't help and you should contact support.
How should i contact support. They have requested to login before that.
I've had the same issue recently. I've received an email that gave me a code that needed to be entered somewhere (without specifying if it is supposed to be in an authenticator app or on Cloudflare directly). I've tried to use it on both platforms, but that still results in the same error when trying to access the account.
I've waited for a couple of days but didn't receive anything. Should I still wait, or are there any alternatives to access my account back?
One question that I forgot to ask was, if we send a second request after 3-5 days of waiting, will the whole process reset back to the beginning? I know it may sound silly as a question, but I just want to be sure that's not the case. Thanks!
These are all the links we know of
These links may help, but they only work when logged out If you know the email: https://dash.cloudflare.com/forgot-password If you know the email and have 2FA issues: https://dash.cloudflare.com/login-help If you don’t know the email: https://dash.cloudflare.com/forgot-emailI think that's from login-help right?
I have sent a second request. I think I've received two emails I didn't get on my first attempt, perhaps because I didn't select the right options. Anyhow, I think someone will more likely be able to help me with that second request. Thanks!
In the last email I received from CF, it said that there is a way to get the 2FA code by creating a file on my web server. Is that a quicker way to obtain it? Do I need to change files from my codebase?
I have seen in the past people get access instantly after verifying their identity that way, not sure if they had 2fa on or not though.
You'd need to change files on your host, wherever that is.
Got it. The problem with my website isn't really urgent by itself. I suppose it would be best to wait for an update and if I don't receive any news, then I'll take the risk by changing that file
why would it be a risk?
I'm just hoping that it won't break the whole website, as I haven't worked on it for a while. I'll have to relearn how to push it and be careful, because that's more or less the reason why I've been starting to use Cloudflare in the first place
Had an issue earlier on which I struggled for days and I don't want to repeat the same process again haha
Guess I'm not really that good at making it clear but let's just say I don't want to be locked out of Cloudflare AND making my website unreachable due to how badly I make decisions
I see. Yea, one bad decision at a time
I just realized that in the email, Cloudflare's automated service explained that I will need to change the files and then message them afterwards. I'm just saying this in case if someone has the same issue and is waiting for an update
Alright, I've implemented the code CF sent me by email. Hopefully the bot will crawl the page and determine that I'm the owner of the website
Thanks a lot for your help, I appreciate it a lot! Couldn't have done it without you
It worked! Awesome!!
