Using kotlin: Example project throws "Error: No response!"

Hi, I've just tried using the workers with Kotlin and ran through the example project. After trying to run it in local mode (dev) I've got the following error

[wrangler:err] Error: No response!
    at __facade_sw_fetch__ (file:///.../v20.11.0/lib/node_modules/wrangler/templates/middleware/loader-sw.ts:204:10)

This print can be found in the official wrangler repo here. And when publishing (deprecated, but recommended by the README) this is printed:

 No event handlers were registered. This script does nothing.
   [code: 10021]

So not even the example is running. I've changed nothing but the account-id and worker name so far... Could somone help me with that?
