so i was in a match and someone said "what's a word for short peopelthat starts with m. i said midget cuz thats the word and i got a mute for that? its not like its racist or anything

Valorant has an automatic system that gives you a punishment (usally to protect to comunity from toxic chats) However it might and will give false positives. If its your first time getting a chat mute it should only last the match.
Be careful with what you say in the future that might be found offensive

they baited it so shouldnt they also deserve a mute
then you have probably been punished for toxic behavior before.
also how do i appeal?
not ever before
if you feel its unfair you can appeal it however id recomment just waiting it out
fresh acc because last night i had to redownload because i blue screened
and i lost the login
valorant will respond to you in about 1-2days and the mute will be over by then so id recommend you just wait it out
