Primary mouse button is slow
Does anyone know a way to adjust how quickly a mouse registers clicks? It's really hard for me to make single shots with the vandal. It's not just me either, I have a friend who's in ascendant over and he played a bit and he said it's harder to make single shots on my mouse than his mouse. I'm using a SteelSeries Aerox 9

dont u have a mouse software where u can change it? u can also try to change some mouse windows settings but i dont think it will do much
@nex there isn't anywhere to change the sens on the mouse buttons, just the DPI and setting up macros (which macros are generally against game rules, so I don't use them)
are u maxing out ur cpu usage?
cap ur fps
fps is capped, cpu usage sits around 20% if I'm just playing val, 40% if I have both instances of runescape up (I normally do)
what's ur cpu and gpu
and what kind of software u have while running val
My bad, I guess it's around 60fps with runescape and val
normally discord, val, runescape, and a chrome tab. With everything I'll be around 70% up to 80% cpu usage if something spikes. I have a 5800x and an evga 3080ti
32gb of ram as well
have u tried with all or some of those software closed
when playing
Yep
When my friend who is ascendant played, only valorant was open
do u have same problem in other games?
idk, valorant is the only game where click speed matters
what polling rate u currently using
meaning DPI?
no, it's different than dpi
polling rate is basically refresh rate of ur mouse
That I don't know
if u are using higher than 2k hz polling rate
enable rawinputbuffer
yk what, I bet it's the polling rate
It's a wireless mouse so I have high efficiency on, which sets the polling rate to 125hz
oh wireless?
damn 125hz
Yeah, 2.4ghz wireless
yeah that's the problem
125 is pretty slow
definitely is the problem
it's at 1k now, i'll test it
Yeah, that was definitely it. It's still hard to do single shots, but I don't have to have insane speed to do it
only way for me to do it before was to literally take my finger off the button as soon as I pressed it
