Streaming video via tunnels

I read the blogpost on the ToS changes and I'm having trouble discerning whether or not hosting something like Plex via tunnels is allowed. Would setting up a tunnel like for Plex technically use the CDN and mean that the CDN specific ToS apply? Or does this change mean that I can now use zero-trust tunnels to host Plex and stream video without violating the ToS? I found a few random threads on this but couldn't seem to find a definitive answer.

Thanks! Does that mean all traffic going through tunnels go through the CDN? Sorry for the followup, is this in the docs anywhere? It seems really hard to sort out whether or not the ToS is applying to the CDN or just the Cache. Has Cloudfare officially confirmed this anywhere? It looks like the question has been asked various times including on their forums but it's usually silence from CF. Something like https://community.cloudflare.com/t/i-want-to-use-plex-with-the-same-domain-name-but-i-also-use-a-tunnel/617401 makes me think otherwise?

You can find it in the tos: https://www.cloudflare.com/en-gb/service-specific-terms-application-services/#content-delivery-network-terms
Cloudflare’s content delivery network (the “CDN”) Service can be used to cache and serve web pages and websites. Unless you are an Enterprise customer, Cloudflare offers specific Paid Services (e.g., the Developer Platform, Images, and Stream) that you must use in order to serve video and other large files via the CDN.

Thanks so much, sorry to be a pain I just find the ToS confusing. Does that mean that the CDN terms basically apply to anything traveling over the Cloudflare network that isn't from one of their other specific services like Stream, Images, etc?

no worries, it is confusing. The CDN terms apply to anything using the CDN, which is enabled when you turn on Proxy on a DNS Record. Tunnels by their nature require the CDN to function. I would read this as well, for further clarification: https://discord.com/channels/595317990191398933/1128753516081582192/1129499373722673243
