Slow Update
Is there any reason why my update is so slow? It's normally faster than this, my download speed is so much faster on Steam, so it's not my internet. Is it because so many people are trying to update at the same time?

If you using cloudflare then change to this

Also try using ethernet, that will help to (its opsional)
But, the other guy with the same problem you had just fix it by using a vpn

I used a vpn
I selected my region to a US server because I'm in the US
It didn't lock me out of my account
I deadass tried every other method but nothing, as soon as I used a VPN, my download went to 15mb/sec instead of .1kb

Again you can't use a VPN to launch the game
If your VPN is on while trying to launch the game will fail to launch
does it cost money ?
there is a premium but no theres a ton of free servers
i tried the command prompt method, repairing game files, setting it to high priority, launching as administrator, none of it worked, even the method involving control panel i forgot what u do in it though, the only thing that worked for me is a vpn
it may be other issues for others but using a vpn fixed it for me
