Showing old messages

So i've opened valorant and realized someone send me a message but it was from 3 days ago so just wondering is this normal?

I think this happens if they send you messages while you're offline you probably just haven't signed in for 3 days, right?

it also happens to me its completely normal coz it was my 6th time for it ME TWICE AS MUCH
