I've had no problems with other games just valorant ibsr
Yea its a thing with vanguard which requires for tpm to be enabled
oh
i assume i have to go to bios
Yep
alright
Also i checked rn and ur cpu supports TPM 2.0
so its compatible
Yep
alright
A micro star motherboard
Gimme a sec
Also currently my ssd is kinda broken and I'm waiting to buy one
would that cause any problems?
Ok can u do it by urself or do u want me to guide u on how to enable tpm?
Wdym by broken?
prob a guide would be safer
hmm
Is it physically broken?
like it insta restarts my pc when it cant handle a game like rust
after like 10 mins
Are u sure its the ssd?
it should be
Seems like a overheating issue to me
ye
so i assume physical
I didn't mean ur ssd overheating
Ssd's don't overheat
Usually
So anyway
Get to ur bios and chat here using ur phone
Cuz i will need some photos
alright
when im starting up
i press f10
for bios correct?
Depends on what the bios key is on ur mobo
Lemme check rq
alright
Its the del key it seems like
alright ill test out del
and now theres a password gg
hollon
The password u give when turning on ur pc ig
that didnt work either
my bro didnt know either and he bought the pc
Eh
gimme a sec
ok nothing works
but i wanna ask one question
Hm
why has valorant decided to do this tpm upd ðŸ˜
To ensure nobody is cheating
man
We can try bypassing the tpm requirement
But enabling would have been better
alright
ye ik
its ggs that my brother doesnt remember the password
Gimme a sec
nw
If u don't remember the password
U can try removing the cmos battery
That will reset ur bios
hmmm
thats inside the motherboard no?
On the motherboard yes.
Lets just try bypassing this requirement tbh
I don't want u to break anything lol
Boot into windows
its on
Open cmd as admin
And type the following command
Solution
bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off
Show result
operation completed successfullyl
Restart ur pc
alright
Close cmd first obv
oh
i restarted
before i turned it pff
off*
Meh doesn't matter rly
Now press win+r on ur keyboard
Type msinfo32
And give a screenshot of the app that opens
Ok now try running valorant
Alright
Is it working? @Samui
yh
damn ty
Ok nice
If u do decide to remove the cmos battery someday
Or remember the password
Plz just enable tpm
ye
I will xd
:val_CatBigStare:
but when I looked at my motherboard I didnt see the cmos battery so I assume it was hidden
behind the one piece of casing
Its definitely there
Maybe on the back
I'll look thoroughly
Thank you very much today
I'm grateful
