Trying to install PIA Vpn
Downloaded the file
pia-linux-3.5.3-07926.run
then running sh pia-linux-3.5.3-07926.run
but I get an error:
Any idea how to prevent it and how to install the pia vpn on bazzite?7 Replies
You can try using the OpenVPN files that PIA gives... I use that alternative for ProtonVPN and they work as intended
Do you install openVPN through Discover? because I tried that and it doesn't work for me I get the
VPN connection 'uk-london' failed to activate.
I use eOVPN from DiscoverYou already have access to it... just import the connection (the ovpn file you want), username and password and you should be off to the races
Sorry I don't know what you mean by that I already have access to it, seems like I don't, if I double click the openvpn file it opens it in the text editor
Follow the first set of instructions starting from point 2 (because everything openvpn related is already baked in the Bazzite image)

thanks for this thread, I just ran into the same issue! I wish I could use the PIA client, but that's on them, not bazzite 😅
Omg ima try this because I’m having the same problem and I don’t want to make another post about it but if it doesn’t I’ll have too 😦
