Any idea how to prevent it and how to install the pia vpn on bazzite?

You can try using the OpenVPN files that PIA gives... I use that alternative for ProtonVPN and they work as intended

Do you install openVPN through Discover? because I tried that and it doesn't work for me I get the VPN connection 'uk-london' failed to activate. I use eOVPN from Discover

You already have access to it... just import the connection (the ovpn file you want), username and password and you should be off to the races

Sorry I don't know what you mean by that I already have access to it, seems like I don't, if I double click the openvpn file it opens it in the text editor

Follow the first set of instructions starting from point 2 (because everything openvpn related is already baked in the Bazzite image) https://www.pivert.org/import-openvpn-configuration-file-ovpn-in-kde-network-manager/

thanks for this thread, I just ran into the same issue! I wish I could use the PIA client, but that's on them, not bazzite 😅
