khakis
About to get some khakis as I don't have any. Thinking I need grey and beige, can't decide on blue or black though

IMO, beige/tan is a definite yes. Grey and blue are maybes, but olive or brown might be better, depending on what colors you tend to wear. Black is probably a "no".
More advanced: maybe consider something different, like burgundy or brick red.
