NYC thrifting/second hand
Yesterday I was talking to some folks in herr about acquiring some items that I'm looking for at thrift stores before looking at retail. I made a small list of the stores mentioned.
Does anyone recommend any of these to go to first, or does it not matter?

Also list was made in my own discord server. I have my own server to write down things so I don't forget and stuff. The channels are useful
Crowley is $$$
More for that specific piece you will spend too much on
What kind of items?
workwear/americana, I'm also looking for OCBDs
Front general is dope for workwear/milsurp stuff but be careful with that Levi’s rack. I’ve seen them selling current pairs with a little wear for more than retail
I’d guess you’d have an easier time finding ocbds in the manhattan shops
Raggedy threads is a little smaller and more curated
10ft single will consume you for a long time if you look at everything
how much is a long time
I’d spend hours there
Maybe an exaggeration
But an hour and a half was not uncommon
There’s usually some nice ivy adjacent stuff in the upper west side housing works
Oh nice I didnt even know about that place
ill write it down
the thing im most worried about is these places not having my size but hopefully. they will
As everyone usually says, go with the intent to just look at clothes for fun, and then you get really happy if you actually find something you like
A vast vast generalization is that you’re likely to find smaller sizes in Brooklyn and larger sizes in Manhattan
There’s also a really cute vintage store in the south st seaport that had some nice RL
Looking it up now
But that neighborhood blows
Club vintage
oh alright
Yeah Ill probally do it on a day where its like not the only thing im doing that day
so I have something else to look forward to instead of just that
