My pods are missing, but still charge me everyday

The management page shows empty, I can NOT find it, is it a bug?

Thank you very much. What’s your total amount lost?
lei
leiOP11mo ago
not sure, maybe $10. the problem is that I can not see my pod, so that I can NOT stop or retire it.

Looks like it was probably stopped and you were being charged for disk. And if it was stopped for 30 days, it would have been deleted automatically by RunPod as per the email. Could have also been deleted if you ran out of credit.

Could really be something wrong with the pods, let’s wait for the devs to check it

yes, the pod is stopped and charged for disk. But how can I restart it or how can I delete the disk manually now?
ashleyk
ashleyk11mo ago
Why do you thumbs down my answer when he comfirmed thats the case? 🤦‍♂️

Disk had to be deleted automatically, there is something wrong. I think there is nothing you can do except just wait for the devs :( My bad. Now I’m not 100% sure if I got you right Sorry

ok, I'm waiting for your devs to resolve it. Will you refund of the 30 days disk charge?
ashleyk
ashleyk11mo ago
You can't be refunded for disk charges if your pod was stopped.
kopyl
kopyl11mo ago
But if those charges are occurring after the pod was stopped?
ashleyk
ashleyk11mo ago
Yeah that shouldn't happen but I doubt that is the case, looks like the pod was stopped for 30 days and then eventually deleted.
lei
leiOP11mo ago
But I can NOT delete it manually during the 30 days, and I have to wait 30 days until eventually deleted.
ashleyk
ashleyk11mo ago
Why can't you delete it during the 30 days? You simply terminate the pod before RunPod deletes it for you. You can also view your audit log to see when it was deleted.

I can not see my pod in webUI, how can I delete it?
ashleyk
ashleyk11mo ago
You won't see it if RunPod deleted it for you after 30 days, you can hover over your balance to see if you are still being charged at the moment.

For example

I started my pod on 26-JAN-2024, and stopped it after a few days later. it's less than 30 days from today, it should not be invisible for me.
ashleyk
ashleyk11mo ago
Its exactly 30 days

But those charges should not be on February 22nd
ashleyk
ashleyk11mo ago
Why not? pod was only deleted automatically by RunPod today. May have already been deleted on 23rd if charges stopped on 22nd
kopyl
kopyl11mo ago
Hm Then you might be right
ashleyk
ashleyk11mo ago
@lei you should be able to check your audit logs to see when exactly it was deleted, looks like probably 23rd Feb.
lei
leiOP11mo ago
my billing history are 28 days

Thats fine if your pod existed all that time, I don't see any issue here, check your audit logs.
lei
leiOP11mo ago
ok, I see it was deleted on 02-25 in my audit logs it's clear now, I know what happens
