You uninstalled it through vanguard itself correct?
Was it a full shutdown or just a normal one? I’m not sure if vanguard is hibernated or not but if it is then you might need to do a full one
hiow to do a fullshutdown then
Just hold the shift key while clicking the shutdown button in windows
Or just hold the power button on your system until it's completely off
That also works but can cause you problems with stuff not shutting down correctly
Can always take it a step further and turn off the power supply or pull the cmos battery
