I’m a player whose been playing for maybe 2 months and I just got into gold. Could anyone gigę advice on what I should work on? I usually play Reyna, Viper (breeze) or omen on some maps. I think my biggest weakness is points are post plant situations, holding site after planting that is. Then sometimes even tho I’m bursting my bullets start going up, I think that’s trigger discipline I don’t really get what that is? And then even tho I do strafe it seems like the enemy just hits me, am I doing something wrong? Id be really happy to hear some advice thank you so much😭

Impossible to tell what you’re doing wrong without actually watching your gameplay.
This is completely up to you but personally I would give up playing Reyna and purely focus on controllers if that’s what you like since playing several roles is detrimental to you this early on, don’t worry about team comp just pick your agent.
I’ll try to address the two things you mentioned though, the reason your bursts go higher and higher are most likely due to you not waiting for the gun to actually reset. You can use the shooting error graph to see if you are shooting accurate shots or not.
As for trigger discipline it typically refers to not immediately shooting an enemy who hasn’t noticed you in hopes of attaining a better position that may include you getting several kills for example.
If you like playing duelist over controllers then of course go with those instead, but try to stick with one role at the start.
I usually play sentinels or controllers more often
Pick one, ditch the other, there is way too much to learn even about a singular agent before you can play it at a high level correctly.
Though agents in the same role typically have the same job and are easier to switch between like brim and omen for example are closer than cypher and Jett are.
Thank you, that helps a lot. Reyna is a pretty simple agent, so I’ll just play her and focus on my mechanics more. And if the team needs it I play controller, which is the class I’m actually learning.

And I feel like in the lower ranks when my teammates are chimpanzees it’s easier to carry with reyna and have more impact with her than controllers
lol yeah skyblock really drains your life out, I’m probably only around 12b though as the only fun thing I find in that game is dungeons
