Switching power profile crashes KDE/Legion Go
I am unsure if this is KDE or Bazzite issue. However on Legion Go in desktop mode, switching to performance mode and back to normal power mode crashes KDE plasma and trying to alt tab locks up system entirely.
Legion Go is connected to a dock with internal display turned off. When system locks up, unplugging and repluging the display just returns the frame on which it froze, internal display won't turn on when unplugged like it usually would

Update:
Enabling Legion Go screen does not change anything. Switch power profile, after few seconds the KDE panel crashes. Programs will still work but if you try to alt tab, entire system locks up. Unplugging the dock does not change anything, if there is audio playing after a minute or two it will stop
define power profile
you dont mean the power light right?
Within KDE desktop, on thr battery tab it shows "Power saver" "Balanced" "Performance"
ok great
does it happen 100% of the time?
Yes, as far as I have tried
can you type
sudo rmmod ideapad_laptop
and try again? It will take few seconds for KDE to die and then legion go locks up few seconds later
yep yep
KDE died
now to lock up the system - alt tab
And it did
And what would be the way to undo this? Because now legion is loud af
The command I told you?
Rebooting, which you did by crashing
So the command had no effect?
Nope
I typed it in, password go brrr and then trying again locked up LegionGo as usual
It was worth a shot. Let me read what you wrote again
Nested or normal desktop?
Normal desktop
Switched to desktop mode and turned off auto-login
Somebody else will need to help that's all I know
You can turn off tuned to hide the behavior for now
Exactly the same challenge here @cutiebella_pillow. Changing power profile modes in lower right corner, crashes the KDE desktop and system locks up/becomes unresponsive and have to hard reset for it to boot up again.
It's a 100% guarantee if changing from Performance to the Balance option.
Only difference, I'm on other hardware though:
