Bluetooth not showing any discoverable devices

When I open the bluetooth devices to pair a new device, nothing shows up. bluetoothctl shows a controller, and i do scan le it shows me a ton of things, but scan on and scan bredr show nothing or find nothing.

Solution:

nvm, it now all of a sudden started working. maybe this successful pair rejiggered it
