ROG Ally
When I go into bios after just downloading games on bazzite my temps are running 73 without gameplay what am I doing wrong? Is it the way I set the fan curves on a decky plugin or something? However according to the plugin my temps are in the 50s clearly according to my bios that ain't right does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do to push my temps down? I'd really like my ally not to run so hot I have no idea what I did wrong. I'm legit nervous to play games at those temps seeing as that's what it's running just downloading games.

bios has different fancurves than when in OS, when in the OS you will have to trust what the OS reports.
you can run the command
sensors
to see an output of different temp sensors (both enabled and disabled, the disabled ones will have weird static temps that never change)note: this is from a desktop
so here obviously Tsensor is a disabled sensor, no way there is something that is 216*c in the desktop without any surrounding components being near that temp
This will work on my ally too?
should
i dont own an ally
but the sensors command is fairly standard and asus-wmi is included in the deck images which the ally image is based on
so if that thing doesnt say "hey im melting" then you should trust what the OS reports 🙂
because as soon as you boot into bios, it will use whatever fan control the bios is set to which would be default from asus
and idk if you can change that fan curve
Thanks
